Your practice
A coherent and happy team to work within, made up of excellent nurses and helpful administrative staff.
In the practice there is a mixture of general small animal work, and within that a focus on the surgical procedures and Ophthalmology work.
This comprises referrals of more difficult cases from other vets and BVA eye testing of breeding dogs. There is also a fair amount of cardiology, ECGs, chest X-rays and echocardiography.
The surgery is spacious and well equipped ( ECG, Pulse-Ox, New 22Mhz US, multi-mode monitors/capnography, new operating microscope, new phaco machine, digital x-ray, ERG, orthopaedic kit. VNTC.
We provide a supportive environment in which to learn sound methods and techniques.
The Role
You will work alongside other vets, nurses and administrative support staff.
You will be expected to work between both our surgeries, one in Stamford and one in Orton Wistow, Peterborough. 1:4 weekends and 1 on call in the week.
Both surgeries have many repeat, bonded clients who have been customers for a long time, coming to us with varied cases providing the opportunity for your professional development.

Successful Candidate
The role would suit a RVN but SVN would be considered.
It is most important that the applicant fits in with other members of the team and have a full UK driving licence.
